“I was a client for Kelsay’s Soul-Based Coaching practice one year ago. We have been creative colleagues for several years after completing the Master of Fine Arts program at Saint Mary's College of California in 2012, and we have collaborated on literary, artistic and now holistic healing projects. Since I completed my coaching sessions with Kelsay, I have also become a Certified Soul-Based Coach. I work with clients who are transitioning into a new phase of life and who seek clarity on the next steps in the personal, interpersonal and professional realms. I have also recently developed a new offering that combines Soul-Based Coaching with my long career as a writer and editor. In this package, I work one-on-one with clients who are at any stage in the process of creating literary art to move the project from draft to finalized product. This 12-16 week program includes regular coaching sessions, writing and editing feedback and regular contact to deepen your writing practice. I also have additional services for line-editing, book proposal generation, and of course, a la carte coaching to support my clients at all phases of the creative process. I came to this work after working as a professional writer and communicator for a decade and a rigorous academic preparation that includes a Master of Fine Arts degree in nonfiction writing as well as two Master of Art degrees. Soul-Based Coaching offers a unique approach to coaching that invites the client to explore their desired outcomes, soul-wisdom, life purpose and internal metaphors through a gently guided, yet effective, coaching practice. As a Soul-Based Coach, I do not "heal" anyone. I do not offer advice or answers. Instead, my practice is based in my deep conviction that each and every person has the power to heal themselves. As a Soul-Based Coach, I provide the space within which this transformation can occur. In doing this work, I have found my calling: to hold space for the unique and often beautiful journey that each client must take to discover the path that is right for them.
