The mission of Dialogical Persona Healing Arts is the transformation, embodiment and authentic expression of who you are, so you can have more personal power, confidence and trust in yourself and in the world.
Founder, Kelsay Elizabeth Myers, believes in the importance of financially giving back to support causes in service of her mission and values within the arts, education, community, culture, mental health, creativity, identity, sustainability and economic independence, especially for women, girls, and survivors of trauma and abuse.

NEWofMarin supports the business growth of its members through networking and education. Our members inspire, praise, teach, entertain and support one another. We promote the development of female entrepreneurs and are dedicated to: maximizing women’s contribution to the local and global economy; giving members public speaking opportunities; providing public acknowledgment by other members when we use each others products or services; and supporting local charities that help the interests of young women in our community.
The Center for Judicial Excellence is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in San Rafael, California. Their mission is to protect vulnerable children in the family court system and to strengthen the integrity of all courts by creating judicial accountability. Founded in May of 2006, they’ve spent more than a decade empowering family court survivors and their children, exposing the systemic failures in our courts, and educating the media, state and federal lawmakers, and the public about the need for major reforms.
100cameras equips youth worldwide with tools to process and tell their experiences. Their custom curriculum improves emotional intelligence, well-being, resilience, and community-building skills. Photography becomes a new access to self-expression, connection, and youth experiencing themselves as leaders. When youth are given the opportunity to process their experiences + express their thoughts and emotions in a way that uplifts their voices and perspectives, they are significantly more likely to become effective contributors within their community.
Since the International Rescue Committee (IRC) was first founded at the request of Albert Einstein in 1933, their global team of more than 17,000 staff have helped people upended by conflict and crisis to survive, recover, and regain control of their lives. They work in more than 50 countries and over 25 U.S. and European cities. They focus support in five areas: ensuring safety from harm, improving health, increasing access to education, improving economic wellbeing, and ensuring people have the power to influence decisions that affect their lives. In all programming, they address the unique needs of women and girls (who represent the majority of those displaced).
Asian Refugees United exists to improve the health and wellbeing of Asian immigrant and refugee communities by building voice, visibility and power. Their work centers the voices of the Vietnamese and Bhutanese refugee communities who fled persecution in their home country only to face new and shared struggles resettling here. It grew from the experiences of Asian refugees sharing their culture and stories, developing their leadership and political analysis, building solidarity with multiple communities and taking action to improve their communities health holistically and in their workplaces.
The mission of Marin Poetry Center is to nurture the enjoyment of poetry and the craft of writing throughout the Bay Area and beyond. Our members are the vitality of our organization. Marin Poetry Center welcomes poets and lovers of poetry from all backgrounds and values diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. With the collective and individual talents, skills, and perspectives of members, constituent groups, and partners we strive to foster a culture of belonging, collaborative practice, innovation, and mutual respect as we explore, create, and appreciate poetry together.
Founded in 1978 by dance pioneers Anna Halprin and Daria Halprin, the Tamalpa Institute is an internationally recognized nonprofit organization that offers expressive arts training programs and workshops for healing, education, and social transformation. Our innovative work has been brought into classrooms, businesses, hospitals, mental health care settings, hospices, prisons, and disadvantaged communities, among others. The Tamalpa Life/Art Process®, which combines movement, dance, drawing, and writing, has influenced the fields of dance, environmental design, theater, movement therapy, and art-based psychology. Our approach is based on the theory that people’s own life experiences are the most meaningful sources for artistic expression and social change.
The SMC MFA in Creative Writing program is a full-time residential degree program in the San Francisco Bay Area, offering students the chance to devote two years to the study of poetry, fiction or creative nonfiction alongside award-winning faculty and a devoted community of literary artists. Founded in 1995, our program combines studio writing workshops and literary analysis, including courses in the craft of writing. After nearly 30 years, our MFA continues to thrive, distinguishing itself by its award winning faculty and its opportunities for students in the areas of teaching, publishing, and community engagement. We welcome students from all backgrounds and walks of life to our mission style campus each fall.
