Playing with Persona

Selfcreation quote.png

I have been in a lifelong process of playing with persona, revealing the deepest longings of my soul, who I am in the moment, and who I still am becoming. . .

We keep growing into wholeness.

Self-creation and wholeness are two main themes of my life—as is playing with hats! As a girl, I would play with hats for fun, playing dress-up or hide and seek with my parents, and most of all, with myself.

At 35, I find I am still playing with hats, as well as the parts of me I conceal and reveal of my whole self. The symbol of the bowler hat has carried me through my mid-20s to mid-30s as a metaphor of female empowerment and creative self-learning.

What symbols can become your metaphors for self healing and wholeness?
