Allow Your Own Rhythms to Take Root & Blossom

Allow your own rhythms to blossom.story.PNG

In a client session this week, we worked with integrating past younger selves and writing letters to future versions of the self. I find it to be some of the most rewarding work to dialogue with different parts of myself, and my client also discovered the joy and healing it can bring forth.

Do you write letters to different versions of who you are or who you were? Do you write to who you will become? Or do you talk to these parts of you?

As part of the homework in the Spirit Leader Design course I’m in right now, we were also asked to write to our future self.

This is what I have to say to mine:

I can feel your heart beating right now. A year from now, I invite you to feel its rhythm too. It’s your rhythm. Pulsing. Sustaining. Flowing. Blending.

Let it move you forward as it’s moving me forward. Keep staying true to your pace. Allow your own rhythms to take root and blossom. They are blossoming all around you.

What would you say to a future you?
